Snowflake Kisses, Day 1 of Kraftin Kimmie release

All the Krafty FUN is about to begin

as we kick off the OCTOBER 2019 release for Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are incredibly excited to share everything with you!

We’ve got new stamp sets, stencils, ink and enamel dots!

Get ready ’cause here we GO!

We are starting things off today with

a super sweet new WINTER set from artist,

Melissa Baker-Nguyen!!

It’s called…..SNOWFLAKE KISSES!

Check out the gorgeous sentiments in this set in a combination of lovely fonts! They can be used as the focal point of your creation, they can be used in combination with a coloured image, you can use them on the insides of your cards, on tags, on bags and lots more!! PLUS all the gorgeous SNOWFLAKE designs in so many sizes! Stamp them in coloured ink or emboss them…so beautiful!

I had fun doing a tone on tone background with our new lovely ink, I then added embossed snowflakes over top to make a scattering of shimmery snow. Lastly I added one of the beautiful sentiments to make a winter card.

Retail Therapy- A black and White Challenge with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

This week, I started with making a list of all things black and white. After looking at this list I circled back to Audrey Hepburn and her classic black and white dresses.

Looking at my stamp collection, I picked out A Dog’s Life  coloured her up in black and grey tones, with pops of white. I then made a shaker card that looks like the front of the shop, and of course she bought out the store, because Retail Therapy!

Christmas Tag in April? A Kraftin Kimmie Scrappy Challenge

Hello Everyone!

Today Marks another scrappy challenge at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!!!
We challenge YOU to make Anything BUT a Card!!!

I made a quick Christmas tag using the stamp set Heavenly Holidays!

Every Christmas I am rushing to make tags for presents and this year I wanted to be more proactive. I am starting to make tags every second to third week up until Christmas that way I have a whole set that I just have to write names on the back of when wrapping presents last minute.

For those who would like details in participating in the Kraftin Kimmie Scrapy challenge all you need to do is: make anything you wanna….except a card! So that means bookmarks, gifts, scrapbook pages, journal art, planner pages, tags, boxes…pretty much anything that includes a krafty stamp!!

Just make sure to include a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp and make sure it’s a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we’ll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

A Bit Mix Media, A Bit Scrappy With Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Cuddles The Dog

Hello Krafty Friends,

This month has flown by so fast!

I have been truly blessed to be a guest designer for the month of March on the Kraftin Kimmie Team! I think they are a super awesome group of talented individuals, who have been inspiring me all month!

I am sharing my project for the Scrappy challenge over at the Kraftin Kimmie Friends facebook group. It was oodles of fun trying my hand at making a mix media canvas with a bit of the old scrapbooking flare I use to do before I started card making.

I knew the moment I first opened up my dream team package and saw the new Sparkling Sapphire ink that I was in love! The ink is this lovely deep blue shade that reminds me of my little fur ball Cobalt.

When my family and I were coming up with a name for our new puppy, My brother ended up thinking up the name Cobalt and it won against the literally hundreds of names I had jot down 13 years ago. He was named after the car Chevy Cobalt, but I secretly enjoyed the name because as a fan of many pigments I have always enjoyed this colour.

Cobalt just turned 13 in December and I really wanted to make a Canvas with the photos we took in the fall of him sitting in the leaves. I thought Cuddles the puppy stamp set would look cute and almost sketchy if I just simply stamped him in the corner with the Sparkling Sapphire ink, I then make sure to use the ink for the Cobalt lettering, and stamped the sentiment in it as well. I used the pawprint stencil with some embossing paste, and then sprayed some Heidi Swapp mist over top of it to make it a bit more teal/ darker blue then the paste originally was. Lastly I added some layering with some stickers and added some of the blue enamel dots from the rainbow Kraftin Kimmie Dots Collection to add a bit of embellishment.

I really love how this turned out and I think it will be a nice reminder of my love for him, he truly has a pawprint forever embedded on my heart.

A new Scrappy challenge starts March 27th, using a Kraftin Kimmie stamp all that is required is making a project that isn’t a card!

Lets get hopping with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have enjoyed the releases of the March Kraftin Kimmie stamps release. It has been an honour being a Krafty Guest this month!

All THREE new clear stamp sets are NOW available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our new Sparkling Sapphire inks, TWO new stencils and our new Springy Krafty Dots!

I decided that I needed to use Drama Llama one more time during this release! I coloured up the Llama with the saddle. I decided to add some green’s and blue’s to make a gender neutral card, as I get this request all the time from my family.

I loved this pattern paper from My Mind’s Eye as it just felt like the perfect paper pack to use with a Llama card.

I then heat embossed the No Problamma!  (my favourite sentiment of this release) and added a sprinkling of Kraftin kimmie Spring dots.

This turned out to be my favourite card of the release, I hope you like it as well!

Fawn’d of you, Kraftin Kimmie Release Day 2

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to Day TWO of our March Krafty Peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are sharing a wonderful spring stamp set from artist Cheryl Grant!
It’s called FAWN’D OF YOU!

This sweet set features a lovely lady who’s getting ready for the nice weather to begin and the flowers to start growing!
She has two furry friends…a bunny and a fawn….plus four coordinating sentiments!

My project today features the Girl and her friend fawn. I matched her up to some pattern paper that I thought worked well with the vine stencil and Sapphire ink. I then heat embossed the sentiment onto some pattern paper clouds for a sweet spring look.

Llama Drama Kraftin Kimmie Release Day 1

Hello Everyone!

All the Krafty FUN is about to begin as we kick off the March 2019 release for
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

This is Day ONE of our Krafty Peeks and we are over the moon excited to share everything with you! We’ve got new stamps, stencils, INK and enamel dots!

The first stamp set we are previewing for you is
called LLAMA DRAMA and is by our fabulous
artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen!

I love that you can use the full llama’s, portrait llama’s, or mix and match the heads to the bodies! Of course we have lot of fun accessory stamps to add unique personalities to each llama!

I decided it would be fun to use all the llama heads in a polaroid (a llama family!) and the hilarious Save the drama for your llama sentiment.

As you hop around the Krafty Team’s blogs today you will see the Llama Drama stamp set in action in combination with our awesome new March Kraftin’ Kimmie products!

You will spot our newest addition to the Krafty Kolours Hybrid Ink line! It’s a stunning new dark royal blue called

Starbust was so much fun to play with! I loved squishing Versamark ink through the stencil to make a silver heat emboss starry background!

These ones are called SPRINGY DOTS!

I was inspired by the springy dots for most of my projects for the release as I thought it would be fun to limit my colour palette!

Today I want to share a project using the Kick Assy Birthday stamp set that Melissa Baker-Nguyen created for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

I paired it with Carly Cupcakes to make a fun and simple birthday card… Or really any day like the stamp set says ” Cake because it must be somebody’s birthday somewhere! maybe they are celebrating a Happy Unbirthday.

I coloured up the stamp with my copic markers and then used a new to me die to cut out the speech bubble at the top of the frame. I then heat embossed in white the sentiment and added fun pattern paper and twine, also a dab of Nuvo Crystal drops to add a bit of the confetti look on the sides.

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the different array of stamps in the new Kick Assy Stamp Set as much as I did… Not only are they perfect for birthdays they also have a lot of use for other occasions as well.

Floating Down the Lake with Fiona!

Today is Day THREE of the June Krafty Peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! I’m thrilled to be a Krafty Guest and join in the release fun! We are previewing a fabulous new stamp set by artist Annie Rodrigue called FLOATIN’ FIONA! So kick back your feet (much like Fiona is doing here) and float on through the Krafty hop!

The Details:

I coloured her up with a new skin combo that I really like for a slightly tan look, then coloured her hair… I love her hair for practising tight little curls. I will have to colour her up again soon so I can practice more. I then paper pieced a cute polka dotted bathing suit (my favourite kind of bathing suit!) and coloured the Dolphin floating in a dark aqua marine colour combo.

I decided to keep my card fairly simple. I wanted to make a slider card (wow! not as easy as I had imagined.) I was looking to also do a sunrise motif with Distress Ink, along with a secret fishy panel using the new paper pack we received in our kits finished off my card base.

I then added some puffy clouds (including one of the sentiments),  and a few lovely little enamel dots and a little sticker for the pull tab, I then called my card complete.

Not how I pictured it, but they say better to try and fail then to not have been creative at all. I think that is my motto in life!

This set (including 5 new coordinating sentiments) plus all the other new sets being previewed this week will be released on Saturday night!! Hope you can join us in this Hot new release!

Question: What is your favourite Summer activity?

My Answer: I love going up to my family’s Lake, and Sea-dooing with the cousins. Also those nights sitting around a campfire sharing silly stories, that turn into inside jokes later on during the year! are some of my favourite memories.
