Hello, Gals and Pals!

Starting off the new year with a card made for my little nephew’s second birthday.
I had decided to try my hand at Watercolouring the cute little skating bunny from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps- Ice, Ice, Baby stamp set.

Using Zig real brush markers I watercoloured the bunny and his little outfit, I then sponged Tumbled Glass, and Mermaid lagoon distress inks to the background to give it a dusky glow. The bunny and ice rink were cut out and popped up with some foam tape to give the scene a little bit of dimension. I added a pop of colour by embossing trees onto scrap pieces of paper and gave it a less uniform look by cutting a thin border around the trees. Finally, I added a few sequin snowflakes, and a sentiment to the bottom of the card.

Gotta say I am not in love with the card, but one of the goals for me this year is to accept the flaws and move on. That is after I tried making the card 4 times on Friday… My mojo just wasn’t wanting to come out and play.

Little Tidbit: I am actually terrified of ice and in general I am not a fan of Winter period. I do like how pretty snow is on everything though so I accept it and wait out the winter for my favorite season Spring! what is your favorite season?

Please don’t mind my blogs pixie dust! I am working on my branding, and hope to have a blog that feels more like how I envision Patti Made a Thing.

Lots of hugs!

~Patti
